Ruby Is Anything But Square!

Hello!

I love Mo Manning's sweet little girls who are playing 'dress up' - they have so much personality - and "Ruby" is one of my favorites. I have given her a bright and colorful outfit that I think she might have picked for herself and entered this card in Mo's current challenge "Anything But A Square" - http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ is where to go to see all of the fun ideas for a card.

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today! Lots of snow again this morning here in this part of WI and more expected today. I have cleaned off my car and moved it to the street - waiting for the plows to clear our parking lot so I can move it back and then I guess this will all be repeated later today. Spring, where are you! Wishing you a happy one!

"KISS" For This Valentine

Hello!

Another Valentine. This time my entry in the current challenge at Meljen's blog - where the theme is "KISS" (Keep It Simple Stampers). Happy she changed the last 'S' to Stampers! :<) I am not in my comfort zone with simple - love detail and small and complicated. But here is my creation. I used one of her digital images "Little Art Mouse" and isn't he a sweet one for a Valentine? You can find him and many more of her wonderful images at http://meljensdesigns.com/ - she told me this is one of her favorites. Mine too!

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today! Wishing you a happy one!

A Big Heart

Hello!

Well, I had today's post done and published but when I went to edit it - it disappeared! I was almost going to say forget it as today I am so weary but here we go again!

More valentines to share. For this card I used one of Sassy Cheryl's wonderful digital images called "A Big Heart" - isn't she a cutie! I loved this paper so much I have used it again and colored the image with only the one color and left the rest white to match the paper. I embossed the large heart and the card itself with a hearts folder and used a border punch on the white layer. The image is fussy cut and dimensionals were used to attach it to the card.

Cheryl has a "Show Me Thursday" blog where you can post a photo of whatever is going on in your life - it doesn't need to be a card - and you can win a free image! http://sassycheryls.blogspot.com/ is where to go to check it out! I have found so many fun projects and great sites by visiting the bloggers!

Multiples
A large card for my friend Verda because of her sight.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! We are finally done with the last few days of snowfall here in this part of WI - I cleaned off my car this morning and now only have to go out to move it back to my parking place after the plows go through the parking lot. I went out for the last time at 10:00 pm last night after they were here - cleaned it and moved it - so much snow! I had to drive it around the block to park it on the street in front of the building and it was like being on a slippery snow covered skating rink in the streets! I am watching the reports of the blizzard/winter storm Nemo as two of my sons live in NH and I just saw 27" by Manchester - where one of them lives! We had 19.5" in one of our snowstorms awhile ago and that was terrible! Wishing you a safe and happy weekend!

"Anything Goes" with Mo Manning "Tin Man"

Hello!

I'm late today - but better late than never. More stressful issues and sever weather to make it even more stressful. So here are my finished 'Tin Man' valentines. I love them all and it was great fun as I love this guy and with his heart it was perfect for a valentine!. I am going to enter one of the cards into the current Mo Manning challenge as the theme is "Anything Goes" and although I entered the one with the ribbon in the last challenge - there are many variations using this image that can fit the fun new challenge that starts today. Go to http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ to see all of the amazing projects by the designer team and also the equally great entries sent in for the challenge. Add your own photo to win a free $5.00 gift voucher to Mo's online store!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Wishing you sunshine and something besides snow wherever you are! Today we also have rain and sleet and ice mixed with the snow in this part of WI! Spring - where are you!

It's More Valentines for WOYW?W

Hello!

It was so dark in my work area this morning - no ceiling light so only the Ott-lites and the window and as it is on the west side there is little light there in the morning and no sunshine yet. It makes for poor photos so please excuse. Today is "What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday again and I am finishing the rest of the Tin Man valentines. I love that guy so I made different variations of cards using the same image. I will have the photos to share tomorrow.

Go to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to check out what WOYW?W is all about and add a photo of your workdesk. There are so many wonderful projects going on and you can visit others to your heart's content! Julia has so much sunlight from HER great window!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I am finally able to create a bit and soon I hope to come to visit you too! The snow keeps on coming here in this part of WI - more today. I guess the groundhog didn't see his shadow so we are to have an early Spring. Can't be too early for me! Wishing you a happy day today!

Working on a Blocks Card. I found this wonderful tutorial for a folding blocks card and I finally have it put together and can now start to decorate it. This is a very cool design and I have only seen this on one site but you can find this fun and different tutorial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch/?v=4H6Kveu0ctc and try making your own!

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today! We are having snow AGAIN in this part of WI this morning - so weary of cleaning the car but this IS Wisconsin so I guess I should be used to this by now. Getting too old I guess. :<) Wishing you a happy day today!

Mo Manning Challenge With Valentine #2

Hello!

Well, we have heat again in our apartment building although it may not stay! Problems still - the maintenance man turned the heat up on the wall thermostat in my neighbor's apartment and the heating elements along the floor turned cold. Not a good sign. My apartment is once again warm but I have to leave now to take my son for a CT scan so I hope when we return this evening my apartment still has heat!

I have made another Valentine with my favorite "Tin Man" - only a different version. This is a Mo Manning digital image and I am entering it into her current challenge of  "Lace &/or Ribbons" as it has ribbon 'laced' through the punched border. :<) Go to http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/ to see them all!

Two Versions

Thank you for stopping by today to visit my blog. Have to leave now!

No Heat In The Apartment!

Hello!

We have no heat in our building this morning! It is -5 degrees below zero here in this part of WI at 9:00 am in the morning and we have no heat in our building! The high today is to be 6 degrees with a dangerous wind chill warning of -25 below zero and we have no heat - and it is cold in here! No showers this morning!

Hopefully when it is fixed I will be back with a card to share. Too cold to work on it now!
