Ribbons On A Card and Orchid Blooms

Hello!

I have entered this card in Mo Manning's current challenge with the theme of "Add A Ribbon" - using one of her new images called "Paddy". I don't often use ribbon on my cards simply because I forget to do it. I have many ribbons and now have them on display in my work area but still I forget. On this card I used a Irish green ribbon and added some dots of Stickles to the ribbon and to the shamrocks. You can join in this fun challenge by entering your card at http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/.

My orchid is now in full bloom and I thought you might like to see photos. This is the plant that my son Jim gave to me about 2 years ago and after those blooms ended it just sat there. I faithfully watered it every week - one half cup of water - and finally after 2 years it started to get buds - a total of 9 buds - and I was so excited. On January 14th I posted photos of the first bloom opening.

This is what it looks like today. So beautiful.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I am so grateful for all of you who continue to visit even when my posts have been few and my creations far between. Your kind comments and e-mails are heartwarming. Thank you. Wishing you a great week!

Hugs,

Barbara Diane
