Anniversary Card and Thank You

I made this card for my brother and sister-in-law for their 40th anniversary. For that many years married I think they should have a medal - but this was the best I could do. :<) I am making them a special book but it has been put on the back burner for now and hopefully I will soon be back creating.

Thank you to all of you who sent good wishes to my son and for your kindness in sending him beautiful cards wishing him well after his lung surgery.

Sharing Anna's Gift on Mo's Challenge, WOYW? and Cheryl's Blog for her Show Me

I can finally share the project I have been working on as a gift for my friend Anna. She has received it in the mail so it is safe to post the photos. It is the first time I have created something like this and it was a long time in the making but so much fun! I kept adding and adding and then the Stickles for some bling and the Mo Manning cute little fairies for even more fun.

Easter Baskets

Hello!

I have been busy making Easter baskets to give to my friends here in my apartment building. Filled them with chocolate covered marshmallow eggs (my favorite) and foil covered chocolate shapes of bunnies, flowers and eggs - looked so colorful! Delivered them today. Here are some of the baskets - I forgot to take photos of others as I was too excited to take them to my friends I guess. Loved seeing their smiles.

It was another beautiful sunny day here in this part of WI - I had the windows open to let in some fresh air and it was so nice to see the sunshine! The snow is melting away! Wishing you all a happy weekend!

WOYW?W Time

Hello!

Today is Wednesday - time for "What's On Your Workdesk?" and with the 4th anniversary of this fun sharing coming up there is going to be an exchange of ATCs as an added option. This was done before and it was great fun to receive a beautiful gift from a new friend. I have been working on a project for the last few weeks and I am almost finished. I decided to add some Stickles glitter - as who doesn't like a little bling - but after beginning I discovered the bottle was empty! I was unable to find more of the color I was using after trips to a couple of stores with no luck and it was a bit of panic time. But I managed to find more after a few phone calls and could continue to add it to the pages. Now I am in the process of adding the final touches. I also decided to add some fairies to the mix so yesterday I was busy coloring and cutting and adding glitter. I think I can stop now - this is my first attempt at this kind of project and I hope my friend Anna likes it! 

The weather here in this part of WI continues to warm up - Easter Sunday is to be in the 50's but now with some rain in the forecast. Well, we need rain to wash away the snow and bring on the green growing things! Wishing you a happy day where you are.

A Easter Spin Card

Hello!

Easter is almost here and once again I am behind in making my holiday cards. I have been working on a project and making Easter baskets, but no cards. I had not made a spin card for a long time so I made this one for my friend Verda - of the candy and hugs. The little chick is so cute as he twirls across the card and back - this is one of the many times I wish I knew how to make a video. :<)

We are finally having warmer weather here in this part of WI - it is supposed to be in the low 50's by Easter Sunday. If we get some sunshine soon, all of the snow will start to melt and then it will feel more like Spring! Wishing you a happy day today!

Not Sure If This Fits The Challenge

Hello,

The current challenge at Mo Manning has a theme of "For The Women Of Our Lives" and as I made this for my friend Mary I hope that it fits the theme. :<) I am making a series of cards for Mary using Mo's digital images from "Oz" in different holiday scenes (I had made her a card with the tin man as a Valentine) and I couldn't wait to make her the scarecrow all dressed in green for St. Patrick's Day - having a happy dance. She was very happy with it - so here he is.

"Anything Goes" at Mo Manning Challenge
