WOYW? Wednesday - A Card For Jim

Hello!

It's Wednesday and time for What's On Your Workdesk? I have been so busy building a doll house as a Christmas project and then creating a paper mache Christmas house using a Graphic 45 paper collection for my friend Anna that since my Christmas cards I have been forgetting to photograph the cards I have made along the way. Today I mailed this one to my son Jim and remembered to take a photo before I sent it! Jim had recently asked for the color combination of yellow and red on the stationery set I am going to make for him, so I used those colors on this card and it turned out to be a very happy combination!

For those of you who are not familiar with WOYW? go to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to see the list and add your link - what fun to visit everyone to see what is happening at theie workdesks! The cute image is one of Mo Manning's called "Giggling Snowman" and you can find it at http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/.

I fussy cut and layered the arms to give it some dimension and was going to add some glitter snow accents as Jim loves glitter (as do I) but working on another miniature display unit and assembling furniture for it, I once again got so focused that I forgot to do that! I also forgot my clothes in the dryer until someone came to tell me - so it is an accomplishment that I got the card in the mail!

It is SO cold here in this part of WI - I can only wonder do I really want to go out to purchase a Power Ball ticket today? Yep.

Wishing you a happy and WARM day where you are!

Hugs,
Barbara Diane
