Have a "Micey" Nice Day!

Hello!

Two of the cute little "House Mouse" guys to wish you a happy day today! Looks like they have decided the little bird house was just the right size for them also!

I have had questions before asking how to make this birdhouse. I found the template on Nicohle Heady's blog "inspired/papertrey ink". Thank you Nicohle! I love it!

Sweet Summertime

Hello!

Every Thursday another fun challenge is posted at Mo's Challenge Blog! I love her images and this sweetheart called "Flutterby" seemed to fit perfectly in this week's challenge of "Summer Vacation". I try to enter a card each week - but the most fun for me is to see all of the many wonderful creations that are entered! Check it out at http://mosdigitalchallenge.blogspot.com/!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Finally we have a break in this heat wave - temperature high today is only to be 88 degrees!

Wishing you a great start to the week!

A Turtally Awesome Day!

Hello!

I have finished my first card using one of the Honeycomb Tissue Pads and a Honey POP stamp set by Inky Antics. You can see the video tutorial using this fun product and card samples to give you ideas on how to use this at http://www.inkyantics.com/honeypop.htm

Thank you for stopping by today!

We are having a break from the heat today - rain. It's good to have the window open and feel the fresh air but I am sure the air conditioning will again be neccessary by noon.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

This Said It All!

Hello!

My friend Michelle sent me this cartoon in an e-mail yesterday. We were having yet another day where our heat index was 104 - 106 degrees. I started to smile and had to forward it on to all my friends who live in this part of WI - it said it all to such perfection!

Wishing you cool air where you are - we are to have another 'popped corn' day here today.

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #2

Hello!

Another Wednesday is here already - so here is my WOYW for this week.

Today I am working on a card using a new Inky Antics product called a Honey Pad, to create a 3-D insert for the inside of the card. The stamp set is from their HoneyPOP Collection. When it first came on the market I of course had to purchase a couple of the stamp sets - they are so cute - and pads in various colors. I have had this for quite some time now but never seemed to get around to creating anything with it.

So finally, here I am - using this fun product to make a card. Hopefully I will have it finished to show you tomorrow! Please excuse the color of the photos as again this week I took them at night when the lighting was very poor.

Thank you for stopping by today!

It is hot, hot, hot here in this part of WI. Heat index temperatures over 100 degrees! I had to go out yesterday to an appointment and to run errands and the heat is brutal! God Bless you again my friend Doug for my air conditioner! One more summer without one would have done me in!

Wishing you a good day! Check out all the other wonderful WOYW at The Stamping Ground blog at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/

Missing You

Hello again,

This is my second post today - another sympathy card for the loss of a loved one. This one is being mailed today to my daughter-in-law Lou in NH. She lost her mom this past weekend - she was the same age as I am.

This image by Mo Manning of a child standing all alone at the window - looking at the star - seemed to say it all.

In Memory

Hello,

So many losses lately - for myself and for friends and family.

I think that sympathy cards are so difficult to create as I want to remember the blessing that was the person as well as the loss. Here is my final tribute to my friend Bill.

Thank you for stopping by today!

We are suffering a major heat wave here in this part of WI - I bless my friend Doug every day for his gift of an air conditioner late last summer. I don't think I could have made it through another one without! Storms expected today also so maybe some relief or just more humidity!

Wishing you cool air wherever you are!

July Page Of Birthday Calendar

Hello!

It seems amazing that it is the middle of July already! Days run into weeks run into months for me this year. But here is the July page of the birthday calendar that I have been working on to give as a gift when it is finished. Over half way now. Maybe next year I will make one in a different shape and style.

Clear stamp sets used say STM 2008.

Thanks for stopping by today! We are having a break from the heat wave here in this part of WI so hopefully the humidity is gone. Wishing you a good one!

What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday #1

Hello!

Well this is my first posting for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. I recently discovered Julia Dunnit's "Stamping Ground" and the WOYWW links that are posted there. So many bloggers and so much inspiration! What a wonderful idea and opportunity! Check it out and share what you are creating today!

You can see it all here http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ Thank you for this opportunity Julia! I have had so much fun looking at all of the Wednesday posts!

I am currently working on another stationary box. I love to make them! I now have the box finished but it is only partially decorated and I still have to make all of the contents.

Thanks for stopping by! We finally have a break in the heat wave today here in this part of WI - hopefully no horrid humidity today! Wishing you a good one!

A Magic World

I made this card with a bit of the magic world of Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum and the Cheshire Cat in memory of my friend Bill who was a musician and lost his fight yesterday. I miss seeing his smile - there is a big empty space where he used to be.

Thank you to all who sent prayers and good wishes for Bill.

Tell someone how special they are and how happy you are to have them in your life.

Lots Of Tiny Flowers

Hello!

Lots of cutting for this card! I love detail and the look of cut-out flowers as borders, but these tiny flowers took a long time to cut - longer than it took to make the card.

The paper I cut the flowers from.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Wishing you a wonderful July 4th weekend!
