A Card for Katie

Hello!

Today's card is one I made for my friend Katie and the "Katie Girl" image is from the second set of digital images that is sent to you as a thank you for a donation to the "Help For Katie" fund.

For those of you who may not know, there is a specific color for the ribbon of each type of cancer. The color of the ribbon for the type of cancer that Katie has is periwinkle, so I used that color in addition to a soft lavender for her card.

Thanks for stopping in today!

So much bad news this morning of the earthquake and tsumani in Japan. The videos are beyond comprehension and I am praying for all of those involved in this horiffic disaster as I watch the continuing coverage.

Wishing you all a safe weekend. I am so very grateful for the many blessings in my life today.

What a cute card.

I am praying with you. I just cannot believe what the videos are showing. It's so terrible.

Hugs,
Rhonda

Have seen the videos on the news. Everything looks like it has been made with matchsticks. The distruction is hard to imagine.
Thoughts are with the people whose lives have been affected.
Have a safe weekend. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Barbara, gorgeous card, love the papers and the image has been coloured beautifully.
Im just wondering where the next place is for the earthquakes, it just seems to be moving along the line, first Christchurch, were my BIL lives and now Japan, its just a scarey time for people living with that under them. with hugs Shirleyx
