Hello!
I seem to have lost a couple of weeks again - can't keep up with life lately. It is time for What's On Your Workdesk? and if you are not familiar with this day of sharing, go to the Stamping Ground blog at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to see what it is all about and join in the fun.
My doll has her face now and the pumpkins are painted and she is patiently waiting for the next lesson, which is the arms and I have the covered wire in place ready to begin. We will also be adding the hair, which will go under the edge of the hat in back.

In the meantime I have been working on a project that I started some weeks ago. The pumpkin did not work out as when I cut into it the insides were a disaster and I had to discard it. The rest of the black painted pieces are part of this project with the exception of the dressmakers model. That is for another project.
You can see Jimbo having a bit of a snooze in the window - he likes to be by me while I work. You would think this position would give him a crick in his neck but he sleeps this way all the time. I will have more photos soon.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Very cold here in this part of WI - but thankfully we were missed by the huge amounts of snow. This coming weekend will tell if we will again be so lucky. Wishing you a happy day today!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane

Aww.. your doll looks very sweet. She'll be quite the charmer when she gets her arms. Hello to Jimbo. Cats can sleep in the funniest positions and it's all well and good for them. Judy #73
Such a lovely clean space! Kitty is so sweet in the window sill. We are supposed to get snow this week-end. Thanks for the peek. #78
You always have the most fantastic and detailed projects going on over here!!!
I always admire folk who make dolls and figures...how do you have the patience? The delicacy and detail always amaze me :-) your figure is coming on a treat.
Your cat made me laugh, they do seem to get comfy in the weirdest positions! We heard about the cold snap in the mid US on our UK weather, hope it you continue to miss the heavy snows.
Hugs, LLJ 32 xx
That position must be so uncomfortable!
Happy Thursday! (sorry I'm late)

You are an inspiration to me each time I view your blog. I have been letting too much of life get in the way of my creativity! I have a room in the attic I need to finish up for my craft/ knitting/ writing room. - I love your room!
You're doll is coming on a treat, and I'm fascinated to see the other project when it's completed, too. Jimbo is so like our Rosie - chooses the most uncomfortable and unsafe places to snooze! Have a lovely crafty week, Chris # 7
Your dolls face is very sweet. Can't wait to see your progression. April #68
I'm excited to see your finished doll and your other projects look fun too.
