Hello!
It's a What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday and I finally have my Halloween/Fall project to share with you - a fairy tale diorama. Go to Julia's blog at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ to see what WOYW? Wednesdays are all about if you are not familiar with it and join in the fun!
It took me forever to finish this project as I kept changing/rejecting parts of it. To make my diorama I first painted the box with black acrylic paint, attached the cover, made a small base so it sat level and used Graphic 45's collection of papers called "An Eerie Tale" to decorate it. Love these papers! I fussy cut and layered to my heart's content - I love both - and finally it was complete.

Can you spot the mean little troll spying on the Prince and Princess?
And of course, all fairy tales have a wicked witch.
So now another finished project in my Halloween collection.
Thank you for visiting my blog today! Wishing those who celebrate Thanksgiving a very happy day with lots of good food and relaxation!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane

What a fabulous idea to make that fairy tale scene in a box. It's magical!
I also went to your previous page and enjoyed photos of Jimbo with the beanybaby. Gorgeous!
Thanks for letting me look over your shoulder,
Sorry I'm a bit late but I always take my time and I love to look and read, click on links etc and that sometimes takes me all week!
Have a good one,

So much detailed work went into this. Lots of fussy cutting. It's fantastic! :-)
Hi Barbara,
WOW! I'm amazed. What a wonderful project; and to think it's in a box. Very cool. What type of glue do you use?
I've had my Thanksgiving meal so it was a perfect time to visit desks - either that or take a nap!!
Happy belated WOYWW
Hugs,

That is truly amazing! I love the colours, and the idea is wonderful. Have a fab week, Chris # 8
Hi Barbara! Quite an involved project! Glad for you that it is done. Looks like you had quite a few projects. I really like the paper, and didn't even realize it was Halloween, until you said so. I like your storage containers that you have your projects setting on.
Thanks for the peek today. #57
How wonderful and thank you for sharing your lovely ideas. I am sorry I'm late visiting but I have been away at my mum's. I don't think you had posted before I'd put away my laptop ready to go. I then lost internet connection and later was busy, Wanted to visit as you end with same number as me :-) Anne x 32
