WOYW? Time and a Clean Workdesk

Hello!

It's Wednesday and time for What's On Your Workdesk? To visit everyone today and share what's going on at your house, go to http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/.

I usually keep my work area pretty neat while working but my Valentines mess became quite extensive and covered every area. This is what my workdesk looked like when I had finished with my cards. What a mess.

Because my sight is failing I have had trouble seeing the paper colors where I had them sitting so I decided to do a make over of my work area and put them on my actual work desk - which meant rearranging quite a few things including the area across where I had my sewing machine, drawers of fabric, etc. I switched the machine/drawers and the drawing table and this is the result.

And here is my nice clean workdesk. I have received the instructions for the arms so have started that sculpt. I will post more photos as I go along.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! We have sunshine but it is now 1 degree above zero here in this part of WI. Bitter cold means staying in and working on my doll. Wishing you a good one!

Hugs,

Barbara Diane

One degree isn't even a real temperature! I love the room re-do. It looks like a fabulous place to craft. I have a lot of my excess cardstock in my hall closet which has lousy light. So I'm always bringing out pieces that look right but then turn out to be hideous once I get them to my desk. Judy #57

Happy WOYWW. I am always in awe of anyone who can create dolls. I love dolls, but think I will stick to needle felting for now. Hoping to graduate to using wire armature soon, and perhaps then a doll might appear! Loving all your wonderful storage. Ali x #43

I have just had one massive clear out/tidy up and whilst the area now looks heaps tidier and neater I can't find a darn thing. Iv'e lost the hair straigtners I know I saw the other day. Needed them yesterday to take the kinks out of some ribbon I was using but do you think I could lay my hands on them?
hope I didn't inadvertantly get rid of them!. The weather has been bitterly cold here too and we are in for rain all day tomorrow which has started already. Keep safe and warm.
look forward to seeing the next stage on your doll. Hugs Mrs A.

This was not a messy work place, you need to surf the desks and see some real messy stuff. Love your play area it is so organized and I have the same lamp in my art room at you have on your drafting table but I gave mine a desk base. Thanks for sharing.

Hugs Eliza & Yoda
