Hello!
I saw this cute tutorial on Splitcoaststampers for a Beanie Cap Gift Card Holder and I had to make one right away - I love it! I embossed my DP using the Cuttlebug dotted swiss folder and then used a piece of foam to distress the edges of the hat pieces with ink and also brushed it across the raised dots to highlight them. I cut 3 of a flower punch, distressed the edges and layered them with a circle in the middle on a dimensional. The flower is attached to the hat with pop dots.
The image I used of Mo Manning's is my favorite dog Bronte that I cut from the 'Bella and Bronte at Easter' image and then cut out and layered some Christmas ivy from the reverse side of my DP at his collar and added a bit of Stickles for sparkle. Bronte is also on dimensionals so the card can be opened and closed easily at the hinge. I will be using this card as a money card this Christmas season and the greeting is behind the money.
Almost forgot - too many things going on here today! You can find the Beanie Cap Gift Card Holder tutorial at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/beaniecap/ and you can see all of Mo's wonderful images at http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/. What a great gift idea. I love how you colored the dog.
