Making Flowers

Hello!

Sassy Cheryl has a blog site where she has a "Show Me" post to ask what one is doing this week - this is my photo. I have an ongoing project where I am working on making flowers for a wreath that I saw on Patty's Stamping Spot. On seeing it I immediately fell in love with it and wanted one for my own.

Jim was visiting here last weekend and we punched flowers and circles using all of my scrap papers - he used the various flower and circle paper punches and I used a Big Shot die of multiple flowers. It took hours and I was grateful for his help - but now I have to assemble them! I think I may have enough cutouts for  MANY more wreaths (and cards, other projects, Christmas, etc.) - but I wanted choices, you know?

You can see what other bloggers are doing this week at http://sassycheryls.blogspot.com/ and to see the wreath go to http://www.pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/ It is the most gorgeous wreath I have ever seen and I can't wait until mine is finished and on my apartment door!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I hope your Sunday is a good one! After much rain and storms we have sunshine today here in this part of WI but we are to have a record high of 95 degrees today and more storms tomorrow! Well, I am off to feed my friend's cat Mr. Wrigley!

Oh my goodness, I'm found a friend that tackles huge projects like there's nothing to it. I can't wait to see the finished wreath as it's going to be gorgeous.
