WOYW Today?

Hello!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday is here and I am working on a quilt card. Le me tell you this is not as easy as one thinks it will be! Accuracy is key here and if cutting is off - good luck in perfect edges matching! After two tries I finally pieced them using my grid paper pad - you can see one of the rejects standing up against the small shelf. I used that as a pattern to remember the sequence of papers. Go to the lovely Stamping Ground blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ for the list of all the entries! I try to visit as many as I can - so many fun creations being made!

Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog today! I love your comments and e-mails! They are what make my day and keep me motivated to create! Thank you!

Very pretty and very accurate. At least fabric can be a little more forgiving. That would be soo appropriate for me to make cards like that. Maybe Christmas cards with Christmas papers. Now that is an idea!
I just love your carousel. Wish I could get one over here!
Thanks for your visit!

That quilt card is absolutely beautiful Barbara and well worth all the work (easy for me to say).
I really love the colours that you’ve chosen to use, they remind me a bit of Cath Kidston.

Happy Crafting!

Hi Barbara loving your quilt card and got to be quicker than an actually quilt...I started one years ago and I ended up with 2 cushions instead! Thanks for sharing and hope you had a great Wednesday, thanks for the visit.

Your card is so pretty! I love the colours. You must make real quilts as well to tackle such an intricate design.
Thanks for sharing your workdesk today! Yours is always so neat and tidy...mine looks like a tornado went through! :D

Oh my! I didn't realize the quilt card was that difficult. Something tells me that quilting with fabric isn't a peach either. Great colors and great to see the beginnings of the card that you have up today.
