Upside Down and Backwards

Hello!

This finished card is not at all what it was supposed to be! I wanted to make another Concertina card as I loved the end results of the first one I made. It started out ok - all went well with the cutting of the cardstock and the scoring/folding. Then I added the patterned paper and discovered I had glued it on upside down. So I flipped the card so that the little pumpkins on the paper were right side up and continued to plan the scene, cut out the images, color them with markers and glued everything to the card with adhesive and dimensionals.

The little trick-or-treaters looked so cute as they made their way up the hill, stopping at houses along the way  to ask for Halloween treats. Even their dog was having a great time. Little did they know yet who waited for them at the top of the hill with a cookie in hand. Pretty scary!

But wait, they are going UP the hill? They are supposed to be going DOWN the hill! Then I realized when I flipped the card to show the patterned paper right side up it made the card going the wrong direction! I put so much work and time into the layout and I couldn't remove the images to re-do it - so I folded it so it made into a card with a front and a back and the scene when it is opened. It can't stand when it is opened up but  it is cute anyway. The houses and trick-or-treaters and their dog are digital images from Mo Manning and the ghosts are some clip art I found on the Internet.

Thank you for stopping by today to visit my blog. I hope that your day is stress free and fun!

This is a great card! I wouldn't have even noticed the upside down-ness if you hadn't mentioned it!
