WOYW? Wednesday Tutorial for Concertina Card

Hello!

Another Wednesday and time again for a What's On Your Workdesk? share. I promised you a tutorial so here are the measurements for the Concertina Card. The finished card looks complicated but it is very simple to make. The card base measures 3" x 12" x 7" with a slant cut from the top of the 7" side across to the top of the 3" side. Score across the 12" side at 3", 6" and 9". Fold on the score lines and decorate! Have fun! I know I did making my first one and I am now working on another! Now to see all the wonderful happenings on workdesks throughout blog land go to visit Julia at http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/!

These are the papers and paper punches I used on my Concertina Card. See my previous post for photos of the layout of the cut outs on the finished card.

Thank you for stopping by today to visit my blog! I am still trying to play catch up in return visits to you all. I was able to see many of your blogs yesterday - such talent and fun cards and projects! I will continue today until I reach the end of my list! I love your comments and e-mails - they make my day! Wishing you a happy one - it is SO COLD here in this part of WI today! Freezing temperatures last night! I am not ready for this!

I'm never ready for the cold, despite all the warnings...and the dark, ohI don't like it! BUT, perversely, I am enjoying autumn..I know, I can't have it both ways!!
Thank you for taking the time to photo and tutorial that card...it's already lodged in the back of my head in the 'try this' file!

Your card (in the previous post) is adorable!
I did the same card style for my DD birth announcement. I don't normally make cards, so that was the last time. I'll have to revisit that. Stay warm!

I really do not do cold, and tend to hibernate a bit in the winter. Thank you for sharing the instructions for the concertina card. I will have a go at that one very soon. Have a good week. xx Maggie #88

Thank you for the photo tute on the Concertina card, BD! Try to stay warm. You do have such beautiful autumns there in WI so that must help take some of the sting out of the freezing temps!! Have a wonderful week! Darnell #28

After a move to KC in 1976 I told my husband I wouldn't move east of the Mississippi River or north of Oklahoma. It was too cold and too dark in the winters and I just wasn't cut out for it. Lived in Colorado foot hills for 4 years and it was cold but lighter and didn't get as bad of weather. Love the card and glad to see the tutorial this week. I was telling a friend about your accordian card the other night!!! Have a great week. Vickie #41
