Ribbons On A Card and Orchid Blooms

I have entered this card in Mo Manning's current challenge with the theme of "Add A Ribbon" - using one of her new images called "Paddy". I don't often use ribbon on my cards simply because I forget to do it. I have many ribbons and now have them on display in my work area but still I forget. On this card I used a Irish green ribbon and added some dots of Stickles to the ribbon and to the shamrocks. You can join in this fun challenge by entering your card at

My orchid is now in full bloom and I thought you might like to see photos. This is the plant that my son Jim gave to me about 2 years ago and after those blooms ended it just sat there. I faithfully watered it every week - one half cup of water - and finally after 2 years it started to get buds - a total of 9 buds - and I was so excited. On January 14th I posted photos of the first bloom opening.

This is what it looks like today. So beautiful.

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I am so grateful for all of you who continue to visit even when my posts have been few and my creations far between. Your kind comments and e-mails are heartwarming. Thank you. Wishing you a great week!
