I hope that you enjoy!

TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS OWLS

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me
Twelve Owls Drumming,
Eleven Owls Ringing,
Ten Owls With Stockings,
Nine Owls Singing,
Eight Owls With Glasses,
Seven Owls on Branches,
Six Owls With Mittens,
Five Sparkly Owls,
Four Sleeping Owls,
Three Elf Owls,
Two Angel Owls,
And a Gold Owl in a Pine Tree

Thanks for stopping by today!

Finally, the finale!

I hope that you have enjoyed this journey with me in creating this Christmas poster! After writing the new words for the song so that it could still be sung to the melody, all the little owls have been great fun to create costumes for to go with the words! But this last group of little owls is the image I had in my mind when I first thought of making a poster of the 12 Days of Christmas. This is the only day that I kept the word image from the song. All the little owls in a row - all dressed for a parade - drumming on their drums! It took me two days to make these little guys - a true labor of love! I hope it makes for a grand finale! :<)

Thank you to all who sent in guesses. Sadly, no one guessed what the 12 would be doing, but you gave me so many new ideas that I wish I had done! Well, there is always next year! :<)

Wishing you a most wonderful Christmas Eve to those who celebrate this holiday and a great evening to all!

Barbara Diane

P.S. The pieces in the photo were for the hat and the eyeballs. :<)

Aw man! I knew I'd get it wrong! *LOL* At least since everyone else did too I don't feel to bad :) I figured they had hats on, but I never guessed those white portions were for drums. It all makes so much more sense now!

What a finale!!! I never thought of them druming. I see the naughty one has managed to keep in time/tune with the others. Thankyou for the fun element that you have achieved in doing this poster and sharing with us.

This project is too cute for words. I wish I would have found your blog sooner, so I could have followed along on the 12 days of Christmas. Did you use a punch for the owl? I read through all the post and did not see the details. I am sure it is there somewhere and I just missed it. I am loving your blog and so enjoying looking at all your projects:)
