A Wonderful Word Card

From the moment I saw this card on my friend Beate's blog I wanted to MAKE ONE! I watched her 'video for the visual" (which I love because I am one of them!) and I was off and running! I LOVE this card! It is called a Word Card and you can find it on Beate's 2/2 post and there is a also a great tutorial available on the Splitcoastampers site at to help you to make this wonderful fold-out card.

Here are some of the Valentine cards I made in this wonderful style. Those of you who follow my blog know how much I love fussy cutting and detail and I was in heaven piecing from the designer papers to create the flower patterns on the solid hearts and letters! So much fun - I can shut out everything when I am cutting and piecing. It took hours and hours to create these cards and I loved every minute!

This was the first one I made and my favorite.

And now, some butterflies!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you liked the cards - try this style, you'll be hooked!
