WOYW? Wednesday Is Here Already!

Hello!

I can't believe it is Wednesday again already - I almost missed it! I have been keeping paper strips for months now, not sure what to do with them but didn't want to throw them away. I finally found a couple of gift ideas that I can use them for. Covering the little chocolate cubes is a perfect use and they will fit in this cute little gift box once it is decorated. I also have been looking for cards that use paper strips in the layout and will have some to share soon. To see what What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday is all about - go to the Stamping Ground blog a http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com to share what's on your workdesk and visit other's to see where they work and all of the many creations being made!

Thank you for visiting my blog today! Can anyone tell me how to create a link to ONE blog post - I can't seen to figure this out! When I link, it is to my blog and sometimes a direct link is needed and I can't provide that so I am out of luck. I would appreciate any help! Wishing you a great day!

A great way to use up those strips of paper. You could also place them on a piece of card and make a quilted effect - have seen this on several blogs and it's a great way of making a pretty background.

Hi Barbara
You now my English is very bad. But I try to explain. You must click on your blog on the title from your blog post and then you can copy the link from the blog post in the line where you normally type a www address.
I hope you understand and otherwise maby someone who can English can help you out.
hugs Linda

Linda's spot on....post your article, then view your blog. Click on the post title..it will then appear in the browser bar as your blog address and the actual post link. You can copy and paste that and it will be a direct link. Try it on the WOYWW list if you like...if your name pops up a couple times at the end of the list, no harm..I can remove them anyway if it causes confusion!
meanwhile..the strips are all frightfully even and uniform...Is that a happy accident? How about paper chains?!!!

Happy WOYWW. Paper strips - I have got lots (given to me by a local printer). Paper weaving is one way of embellishing a card. Ali x #71

great idea for using up those bits and pieces of paper that I seem to accumulate a lot of. How are you going to decorate the box? You will have to post the finished project! Have a great week and thanks for sharing. Vickie #62

Ooh, yes, paper chains, what a good idea! Or I've seen lovely cards where strips of paper are "woven" into a grid as the background, looks great! I can see that you've had great instructions above for how to get a specific post linked up... good luck with it! Belated happy WOYWW!
