Hello!
The Princess ha a bed! My son Jim helped me make it while he was here for Easter weekend. I started with wood but had no small saw that worked. So I used one of the 3-sided display boards that I had here - as I could cut that with a utility knife - and assembled it using a hot glue gun. I wanted a whimsical look to go with the style of doll so painted it a bright Kelly Green with acrylic paint. The board took the paint really well and only had to use two coats. Now I am working on the dust ruffle and mattresses. The Princess is now dressed also so will share those photos tomorrow.
I had not created for so long that Jimbo was used to my workdesk chair being "HIS" chair from the time he came to live with me. He is very good about sitting in the window or on the cat tree when I am in the chair but he is long suffering and as soon as I leave to do something else (like laundry) he is on the chair. When I return to work again he turns to me and has that look like "What, again?" I wish there was room for two chairs. :<)
Thank you for visiting my blog today! We have beautiful sunshine today in this part of WI - everything is green and Spring flowers are blooming. I can't wait to see the flowering trees! Wishing you a lovely day today!
Hugs,
Barbara Diane

Ooooh !!! That looks sooo cool. I can't wait to see the Princess :-D
Jim looks so comfy on that chair... you know why he likes it so much ? Whenever you leave the room he sticks his legs out and spins around shouting 'Wheeeeee' playing merry-go-rounds, until you come back again !!!! :-D :-D
Hope you are feeling even better today.
