The Pumpkin Guys Get Sparkly!

Today they can be found on a shoe! The pumpkin guys get sparkly in this project and it is the final one using this stamp - for this week, anyway! :<}

This was fun to make.

To begin, I glued a sheet of SU Washington Apple DP to the backside of a sheet of SU Black CS to make the lining of the shoe. Then I stamped the pumpkins on the SU Black CS using SU White Craft Ink and cut out and assembled the shoe. I decorated the shoe using glued rhinestones and a Lime Green and Golden Rod Stickles.

Pop-Up Pumpkins

Hello!

The pumpkins strike again! This time in a matchbox pop-up - such cute little guys! I think one more day of 'pumpkins postings' for tomorrow and then I best get started on something else. :<)

My dollmaking has taken a back seat these past months and I am determined to start one this weekend and then try to keep both areas of work in my daily schedule. We shall see.

A Wonderful Blog and Digital Stamping!

I found a most wonderful blog today!

I was surfing all the great stamping blogs that I view evey day - and on Debbie Pamment's blog at http://debbiepsplace.blogspot.com/ there was this wonderful card of a little baby playing happily in the leaves - throwing them up into the air - and a reference and a link to the stamp designer's blog - Mo's Digital Pencil Too! I clicked on the link, saw the first posting - and fell in love immediately!

Marie J. Manning (MJM) is a fantastic artist and book illustrator, who's drawings not only bring back so many memories, but pull my heart strings! (Don't know where that phrase comes from, as I don't use it! :<) But that's the way they affect me!)

Mo's blog is about something totally new to me - digital stamping. But I mean to find out more! Check her site out to see what I mean at http://www.digitalpenciltoo.blogspot.com/ You will be so glad that you did!

A Birthday Magic Box and Card

Hello,

This set was ordered by my friend Eric for his mother's birthday this Saturday. I didn't think that I would finish it in time and here it is - a day early!

When ordering, Eric told me his mother likes the colors of purple and lime green, her birthstone is an opal and she likes cats. :<) This is my interpretation.

I used one of the new SU colors of Rich Razzleberry CS, the SU Cottage Wall DP and SU Whisper White CS. I also used the retired SU Kiwi Kiss CS for the cake as it was more of a 'lime green' to make it pop.

I was happy with how it turned out and I hope she likes it!

Tweaking of the Happy Faces Card

Hello again!

I have been working on more Halloween cards using this same stamp set as I love these guys! After finishing the last one where I used SU Garden Green to add a finishing touch of color to the orange pumpkins, I liked that much better and so went back to this first card and added the green and then I also colored in the pumpkin on the greeting.

Some Happy Faces on a Rainy Day!

Hello!

It is a very dark and rainy day here in WI today and after all the stress of the weekend with no computer access, I needed something HAPPY to start off the week!

I decided to make a bright and cheery card and first thought of a Christmas card, as that season always lends itself to color and fun. But then I remembered a happy Halloween card that I had seen and loved by Brenda Taylor and so here is my CASE of it.

Computer Problems!

Hello!

I was not able to post all weekend as I was having major computer problems and could not access my blog or my PictureTrail or anything on the Internet! Scary!

My great friend Sandra, who is my computer person, has done whatever she needed to do to get me back in working order. So, tomorrow I will have a new post!
