The Dollhouse Studio - The Refrigerator

The inventory continues. Begins on 9/2/10 post.

Hello!

One would think to question - what is there to show about a refrigerator? It's just a refrigerator. Not true - at least not in the dollhouse studio. :<) There are all of the items in the refrigerator and on top of the refrigerator.

The refrigerator itself - cool early model that it is - and the items that sit on top.

I love the little woven Easter baskets! See the Peeps in one and the white chocolate lamb in the other? Foil wrapped chocolate eggs sit nestled next to dyed hard boiled eggs - all sitting on green Easter grass!

The small doll holds her very own teddy bear. The bear was hand crafted by my artist friend Todd Krueger - who is a master at creating miniatures - and the arms and legs are jointed and can be moved! Next to her is a Animal Crackers box with the tiny string handle.

Then there are the items that go inside. . . . the two quarts of milk, a jar of cherry jelly, mustard and ketchup bottles, a relish tray, a cold cuts tray and butter in a covered butter dish. There are also two ice cube trays and the three trays in the refrigerator are removable - I have removed one to show the detail.

Pop them inside - see how nicely they all fit . . . . .

Put all of these miniatures back on the top . . . .

and there you have it! The refrigerator of the dollhouse studio. :<) Told you it wasn't so simple! Now maybe you can see how it took me a week to remove, clean and return all of the items of this one-room-with-balcony dollhouse studio! :<) I have just begun to show 'n tell!

And here is the refrigerator - all cleaned and spiffy and back together. The first completed piece of furniture to be put back inside the studio.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Hope you enjoyed seeing the miniatures! I should have taken a photo holding one of the tiny food items to show you the scale but there will be others. They are very small! You can click on the photos to enlarge to see more detail.

Have a great day today!
