Happy Harry - The Face

Hello!

So now it is time to create faces for the two Happy Harrys so they can smile and come to life! White felt eyes are cut out and sewn to the faces and then are outlined with black embroidery thread, followed by red embroidered smiles. The little hearts are the "man purse" that they will carry over their arm. :<)

Now a bit of shading is added to the top lids (I used an SU marker) to give it a bit of depth. The little black beads that will be the eyes are sitting on the hearts.

These are sewn to the felt and the Happy Harrys can see!

Now it's time to add some soft sculpting around the eyes and the mouth to give dimension to these funny little faces. They don't mind being called funny as that is what they are all about! So here is HH#1 with soft sculpting.

And here is HH#2 before his is done.

HH#1 is on the left, HH#2 on the right. You can see what a difference a little needlework can do!

Thanks for stopping by today! Tomorrow the heads, bodies and arms/hands are all attached and it's time for the hair! And a little blush on the cheeks!

Wishing you a good day today! We finally have SUNSHINE! :<)
